Which basketball games can we play along with?
NBA, WNBA and men's college basketball games from the schedule, playoffs and March Madness included. Pick the game on the TV before tip-off, and the cards are made for that league and those two teams.
Can guests join after tip-off?
Yes. A guest who joins late gets a card with the plays so far already marked, or a blank card if you prefer. It is one setting.
Do we have to call the plays or mark the cards?
No. The squares mark themselves from the live play-by-play. You can switch to players marking their own cards and calling BINGO if you prefer, and a claim is still checked against the game.
Will phones spoil plays before our TV shows them?
No. The game runs slightly behind the live broadcast by design, and a hold setting lets you wait longer if your TV feed runs behind.
What does it cost?
Game Day Bingo is included in Nightcap's $49 per venue per month plan for every game, with a free 30-day trial and no card to start. It is in beta while bars try it.
Is it gambling?
No. It is free to play, like a trivia night. The prizes are yours to set, such as a round or a bucket of wings, and no one pays to play.
